Main Uses
as an intermediate can be further brominated to prepare TetraBromoBisphenol A (2,3-Dibromopropyl) ether. It can be used as a crosslinkable and additive flame retardant for expandable polystyrene resins; it is a reactive flame retardant. It is mainly used for flame retardant materials such as expanded polystyrene, unsaturated polyester, and expanded polyester.
